Summary

We collect only what we need to process your order and deliver your results. We never sell, rent, or share your DNA data or personal information with third parties for marketing. Physical samples are destroyed 90 days after testing on your request; digital results are stored securely and can be deleted at your request.

What we collect

• Order information: name, shipping address, email, phone
• Payment information: processed and stored by Stripe (we never see your card number)
• DNA samples and resulting genetic data (34 STR markers per person)
• Basic web analytics: page views and referrer (via Google Analytics, no personal data)

How we use it

Solely to process your order, run your test, deliver your results, and provide customer support. We do not use DNA data for research. We do not share DNA data with law enforcement absent a valid court order specific to your test.

Security

All web traffic uses TLS 1.2+ encryption. Results are delivered as password-protected PDFs. Samples are handled by barcode within the lab — technicians see barcodes, not names. Our partner lab is AABB-accredited and CLIA-certified with independently audited security controls.

Retention & deletion

You can request destruction of your physical samples and digital results at any time via our contact form, using the email on your order. We retain order metadata (order number, date, amount) for 7 years to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. Use our contact form to exercise any of these rights.
